"Be The Wall" Against Teens and Alcohol - A Community Meeting

Oceanside SAFE Coalition will be hosting a Community Meeting for all local retailers, organizations and sanctions to introduce a new Prevention Campaign for Underage Drinking. Participants will have the the option of meeting on one of two dates to learn more about how they can be involved in spreading awareness of the important role our community plays in prevention!

How do you save a fish in a polluted pond? You don’t remove the fish - you change the environment.

This campaign supports parents, community leaders and local retailers to keep the message clear to teens regarding alcohol. It promotes the importance of talking to them regularly about the risks of substance misuse and also provides tips for hosting safe, substance free parties. It aims to raise awareness on the root causes of teen drinking, and change behaviors / permissive attitudes that enhance social access.
