NY State Liquor Authority Alcohol Training Awareness Program

Thanks to our funding from DFC (Drug Free Communities), Oceanside SAFE Coalition has been able to bring the NY State Liquor Authority ATAP (Alcohol Training Awareness Program) to local businesses free of charge.

With ATAP Certification, employees learn their rights, responsibilities and liabilities regarding underage and intoxicated customers. Stores establish a standard policy to address checking ID's and supervising their premises - as well as learn to recognize valid forms of ID.
