Partnering with Supervisor Don Clavin, Oceanside SAFE Coalition and the Oceanside School District to discuss the #OpioidEpidemic with Town of Hempstead neighbors by sharing experiences, discussing current events and understanding how opioids work. All will be trained, personally, by Councilman D'Esposito in identifying overdoses, administering Narcan - everything you need to help save a life. Narcan will be distributed to all attendees.
Due to #COVID19, we ask guests to pre-register by emailing adesposito@tohmail.org or calling 516-812-3242.
What a great turnout for last nights Narcan Training at Oceanside High School! Tremendous thanks to all attendees who braved the weather, the Oceanside School District for co-hosting this event and providing the space, Nassau County 4th Precinct and Oceanside Counseling Center for their great presentations and resources, and Councilman Anthony D'Esposito for his amazing training & overall dedication to combating the opioid crisis on Long Island.
